Description
Extended Matterhorn region. Conditions: per the provider's shop. Departure: Zermatt.
The extended Matterhorn loop: around 30 minutes of flight time leave more room for the region around the Matterhorn, the glacier world and the four-thousanders of the Valais Alps. Anyone who wants to spend a little longer close to Switzerland's most famous peak than on the standard scenic flight is in the right place here.
Air Zermatt, founded in 1965, as the rescue-flight operator of the Zermatt-Matterhorn destination, is in this very terrain on a daily basis. Modern mountain-rescue techniques such as the longline rescue were co-developed here, and the scenic flights benefit from this local knowledge.
The price is per person; operation depends on the weather.
