Description
Aletsch Glacier / Alpine panorama. Conditions: per the provider's shop. Departure: Raron.
At over 20 kilometres, the Aletsch glacier is the longest river of ice in the Alps and the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch. On this scenic flight from the Air Zermatt base in Raron, you follow this huge ribbon of ice from the air, past dark medial moraines and surrounded by four-thousanders, with views, depending on the route, towards the Jungfraujoch, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
Air Zermatt flies the Aletsch region from the valley base in Raron, in the Rhône valley. The fares and route variants — for example UNESCO-Jungfraujoch or Alpenpanorama — are listed directly by the provider, which is why we deliberately do not quote a price here.
