Verification Standards

What the verified badge on this platform means – and what it does not.

The verified badge is tied to a concrete, traceable check: a comparison against the official helicopter operator list of the Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA), as of 1 April 2026. Only operators listed there with an air operator certificate (CAT/AOC) or aerial work authorisation (SPO) carry the badge – the respective number is shown on the operator profile.

FOCA Operator List

Every operator is checked against the official FOCA helicopter operator list (CAT/AOC or SPO), as of 01.04.2026. The number is visible on the profile.

Clear Labelling

Intermediaries and organisers without their own FOCA operator authorisation, as well as B2B/special-operations providers, are clearly labelled and do not carry the badge.

Documented Information

Contact details, locations and offers come from official and operator-owned sources; information we cannot substantiate is omitted or flagged.

No Invented Reviews

We show no star ratings until genuine, verifiable customer reviews are available.

What the Badge Means

The operator was listed in the official FOCA helicopter operator list with a CAT/AOC or SPO authorisation as of 1 April 2026. This is an objective, officially backed criterion – not a self-declaration.

What the Badge Does Not Mean

The badge is no guarantee of availability, prices or the quality of an individual service and does not replace your own checks. Contracts are concluded exclusively between you and the respective operator.

Non-verified Entries

Operators without FOCA evidence (e.g. attribution still being verified) and intermediaries/organisers are labelled accordingly; the note is shown on the profile. We do not list historical brands or discontinued operations.

Updates and Corrections

We re-check the directory against the FOCA list with each update. Please report errors or changes to kontakt@swiss-helicopter-club.ch – we correct promptly.
