1. Controller

The controller responsible for the processing of personal data on this website is: OM Niederer c/o ExpertFid and Audit SA Strehlgasse 2 8001 Zurich, Switzerland Email: kontakt@swiss-helicopter-club.ch

2. Scope and Applicable Law

This policy applies to the website swiss-helicopter-club.ch and describes which personal data we process. We comply with the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revFADP) and, insofar as persons in the EU or EEA are concerned, with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Principles

We process personal data in good faith, proportionately, for specified purposes and transparently. We only collect data that we need for the stated purposes and delete or anonymise it as soon as it is no longer required.

4. What Data We Process

4.1 When Visiting the Website

When the website is accessed, technically necessary data is processed, such as the IP address, date and time of access, the page accessed, and browser and device information. This serves the secure and stable operation of the site. The website is operated with our hosting provider (see section 7).

4.2 Enquiry and Contact Form

If you request a quote or information via the enquiry form, we process the data you provide, namely name, email address, telephone number (if provided), preferred date, number of people, type of enquiry, the operator, experience or flight school you selected, and your message.

4.3 Cookies, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

Technically necessary cookies enable the operation of the website and do not require consent. For audience measurement we use Google Analytics 4, integrated via Google Tag Manager (provider: Google Ireland Limited). Pseudonymised usage data is processed, such as pages visited, time spent, approximate location, and device and browser information. The IP address is used only to determine the approximate location and is not permanently stored by Google. These services set cookies and comparable technologies and are only activated after you have consented via our consent banner (Google Consent Mode). You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future via the cookie settings. Insofar as the GDPR applies, this processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Google may process data in the USA; we base this disclosure on appropriate safeguards (see section 7).

5. Purposes and Legal Bases

We process your enquiry data in order to respond to your enquiry and to forward it to the helicopter operator or flight school you selected, so that they can send you a quote or information. Insofar as the GDPR applies, this is based on the initiation or performance of a contract or on your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and on our legitimate interest in operating the platform (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data generated when visiting the site serves the security and stability of the service.

6. Disclosure to Third Parties

Intermediation is at the core of our platform. We forward the data of your enquiry to the operator or flight school you selected so that they can process your enquiry directly. By submitting your enquiry, you consent to this disclosure. The further handling of your data by that operator is governed by its own privacy policy. In addition, we use technical service providers as processors, in particular for hosting and the database (see section 7). No further disclosure or sale of your data takes place unless we are legally obliged to do so.

7. Processors and Disclosure Abroad

We use the following service providers: – Netlify for hosting and delivery of the website (provider domiciled in the USA). – Supabase for the database in which enquiry data is stored (servers located in the EU, provider domiciled in the USA). – Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for audience measurement (Google Ireland Limited, data processing also possible in the USA), only after your consent (see section 4.3). Where data is disclosed to countries without an equivalent level of data protection, we base this on appropriate safeguards, in particular the standard contractual clauses. On request, we will inform you about the safeguards in place.

8. Affiliate and Partner Links

This website contains affiliate or partner links. If you click such a link, the partner may set cookies in order to attribute a referral. Details can be found in our affiliate disclosure.

9. Retention

We retain enquiry data for as long as it is required for processing and any follow-up questions, and then delete or anonymise it, unless statutory retention obligations prevent this.

10. Data Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, such as encrypted transmission via TLS and access restrictions. Complete security of data transmission on the internet cannot be guaranteed.

11. Your Rights

Within the scope of applicable law, you have the right to information, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, the right to object and, insofar as the GDPR applies, the right to data portability. You may revoke any consent given at any time with effect for the future. To do so, contact kontakt@swiss-helicopter-club.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Switzerland with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EU with the data protection authority responsible for you.

12. No Automated Decision-Making

No exclusively automated decisions producing legal effects or similarly significant impairment take place.

13. Changes

We may amend this privacy policy. The version published on the website at the relevant time is authoritative.
